There is very little knowledge of the fact that Earth actually had a
second moon that is actually larger than the moon that we currently
have. The reason why the order decided to hide this moon was because
this moon is actually perfect for humans to inhabit it and the order
decided to take it out of human view by cloaking it with a system that
makes it invisible for human technology to pick up on it. Once humans
have evolved enough to learn how to use this moon, the order will reveal
it once again.
This moon was visible from Earth before humans
roamed the planet and the order knew that this moon had to be hidden as
soon as possible in order to keep it safe for the evolved version of
the human race to have the chance to make the most of it.
